Wow, you folks are amazing! Currently, there are 36 comments in response to yesterday’s call for some samples for me to critique. I will work through a good selection of these over the next few days. I just wanted to let you know that I think I’ve got enough for a while!
So the bottom line is that no more entries will be accepted. I hope to do this again in the not-too-distant future, so if you didn’t post a comment yet, just hold that puppy in reserve for the next time around.
I’m really tired right now, so I’m going to fight off the temptation to critique a couple of samples tonight. The alarm went off at 4 AM this morning. It went off at that hour yesterday too, but there was a REASON for it yesterday. Today, the only reason was that somebody forgot to disable the blasted thing last night. And the only “somebody” available to blame is me. ๐
Tomorrow, I’ll do a few critiques. See ya then!

I just read through most of the entries. It was pretty interesting trying to imagine what was going on “around” the two paragraphs everyone submitted.

Rest well, Randy, and have a great weekend!

Randy and friends, thank you so much. For me (and probably some other novices in the crowd), MRU’s are beginning to make sense. I was afraid they never would. I’m digesting every word you all write. Good stuff! Keep it up.

I was just thinking the same thing. It was fun to read what everyone submitted and to try and figure out what the story was about just from those two paragraphs. I read some really interesting stuff!
Randy, make SURE you disable that 4am alarm, so you’re not jerked awake like you were this morning – yuck, and on a Saturday!

Oops! I read the previous post requesting entries through Feedblitz and posted mine before reading this entry. Sorry!

Randy, Thank you so much for all you’re doing to help other writers and would-be writers.
I got to my email too late to take advantage of your wonderful offer (three part time jobs will do that to you), but I will make sure I submit copy for the next 2 paragraph critique.
I’m learning a lot just from reading what others have written. Are you going to post your critique of the paragraphs that were submitted?
